Davor Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 27, 2026
Davor provides inspiration browsing, AI-assisted style matching, favorites, profile management, and crystal-supported premium actions. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, when we share it, how long we retain it, and what choices users have when using the service. We wrote this policy to help users understand the real data flow behind discovery, account support, purchase handling, and content personalization.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that users provide directly, information generated by use of the app, and limited technical information supplied by devices or service providers. Direct information may include support requests, profile details, saved preferences, and images submitted for AI-assisted style matching. Usage information may include navigation events, favorite actions, store interactions, subscription or billing state, and crash or performance diagnostics needed to keep the service stable. Device information can include app version, operating system version, language, and identifiers required to deliver the service or prevent abuse.
2. How We Use Data
We use collected data to operate the service, provide AI matching results, maintain favorites, deliver purchase entitlements, improve product quality, detect abuse, answer support questions, and communicate material policy or service updates. If a user uploads an image for style matching, we use that image to analyze colors and generate recommendations relevant to the requested experience. We may also use aggregated or de-identified data to understand feature performance, prioritize product improvements, and measure whether core flows such as discovery, match, profile, and store remain useful to our audience.
3. AR Try-On Camera Processing and Face Data
Davor's AR Try-On feature uses the device camera to detect hand pose and render virtual nail overlays in real time. Davor does not use the TrueDepth API and does not collect face mesh data, facial landmarks, facial geometry, depth maps, or any other face data. Camera frames used for AR Try-On are processed locally on the user's device and are not stored, retained, uploaded, or shared with Davor or any third party. Temporary hand landmark coordinates are held in memory only for the time required to render the live AR overlay and are discarded immediately after processing.
4. Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell personal information. We may share data with service providers who help us host content, process analytics, operate customer support, deliver infrastructure, or handle payment-related workflows. Those providers are expected to process data only for the business purpose we specify, protect it with reasonable safeguards, and avoid using it for unrelated advertising or resale. We may also disclose information when required by law, when responding to valid legal requests, or when disclosure is necessary to protect users, our team, or the public from fraud, security incidents, or other harm.
5. Storage, Retention, and Security
We retain information for as long as it is reasonably necessary to deliver the service, honor user choices, comply with legal duties, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Uploaded content used for AI matching may be stored for a limited period to complete processing, support troubleshooting, or improve reliability, subject to operational needs and legal obligations. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No storage or transmission system is perfectly secure, but we review our practices regularly and work to reduce risk.
6. User Rights and Choices
Depending on location, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or limit the use of certain personal data. Users can also request information about the categories of data we collect, the business purpose for collection, and the categories of service providers that may receive data. If local law provides additional rights, we will review and respond in accordance with applicable rules. Some information may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, billing, or legal compliance even after a deletion request is received.
7. Children and Sensitive Use Cases
Davor is not directed to children under the age required by local law to provide valid consent on their own. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children in a way that violates applicable law. If we learn that a child provided personal data without proper authorization, we will take steps to delete the information or restrict the account as appropriate. Users should avoid uploading highly sensitive information that is not necessary for beauty inspiration, style planning, or app support.
8. International Transfers and Policy Updates
Because our providers and technical systems may operate in more than one jurisdiction, information may be processed or stored outside a user's home country. When transfers occur, we aim to use appropriate contractual or organizational safeguards. We may update this policy as the service changes, as laws evolve, or as new features are added. When we make material updates, we may revise the effective date, publish the revised policy, or present a reasonable in-app notice so users can review the new terms before continuing use.
9. Contact Us
Questions about this policy, data rights, retention, storage, sharing, or security practices can be sent to support@regal.davor.ink. Users may also contact us if they believe their account data is inaccurate, if they want to close an account, or if they need help understanding how a specific feature uses information. We will review privacy inquiries in good faith and respond as required by applicable policy and law.
